  1. Everyone sitting or standing in a circle.
  2. The teacher says a letter of the alphabet.
  3. Around the circle, in order, each person names one word starts with a particular letter of the alphabet. When a participant can no longer think of a word, everyone applauds.
  4. The participant who was stumped gets to choose a new letter and it continues with the new letter.

VARIATIONS: Instead of a letter, you choose a place, such as a Pet Store, or a Doctor’s Office, a Restaurant, Garage… wherever. Then the participants think of as many things as they can that would be found in this location.
